Consumer Affairs?

I have no idea how to classify this. This guy says he is with the “fraud” division of “Consumer Affairs”? He’s a real piece of work, very fun to chocolate truffle with.

Yes, I heard this odd message from ‘Officer Bob Mardock(Marduck?)’. As of now - 3:30am Eastern on 10/19 - he’s still quacking away to anyone who calls his number.

He’s still up today and is completely unhinged and TERRIFIED. Let the onslaught continue.

not answering.

@Zen#115558 Please don’t just post nonsense about not answering to dissuade people from calling. His number is still online and he does answer if you assault him enough, that’s the point.

@pleazbonline#115564 There’s “not answering” as in not answering at the moment

And then there's "not answering" as in the scammer has gotten convinced that the DID he's using is now toxic and he needs a fresh one and does not intend to use that DID anymore.

There's no way using either human intuition or software prediction models using TensorFlow to guess with any degree of certainty what the scammer is likely going to do. Other than scammers do tend to hold on to their 8YY numbers cuz they took longer to negotiate and to setup call forwarding, especially if the number is being used on websites---easier to park the number and then use another 8YY that's being rented.

Residential DID inbound numbers are cheap af and most carriers allow you to dispose of a number and pull a new one quickly.

@pleazbonline#115564 i have been spam calling him for hours. No response yet.

@kenzo#115571 informative and useful info as always!

Still at it today.

It’s 0520 Eastern on 10/31 and Officer Bob is back to asking you to call him and wishing you a lovely day.
