I got a voice mail claiming that someone is hijacking my computer and stealing all my personal information. It tells me to call the number or my computer will become obsolete and all my information will be compromised.

I got Mary then finally transferred to the senior tech who got spooked because (a) My line was breaking and he worked out I was using firertc or a sip.
The message on the start is so dodgy and obviously a scam
@Cole111111#97123 I believe this call centre is actually located in the Phillipines. After about 10 - 15 calls I got one of the female scammers to reveal why she is doing it and her location (Well country) . So sad. I believe she was telling me the truth. I’m not going to identify which one I spoke to as she gave away personal private information to me. I planted a seed about getting out of it which I think took ground. I think she’ll remember me for a while.
They asked for my name I said it’s Imat Roll asked for my email said it’s I M A T R O L L @gmail.com she then proceeded to ask me not to call again which i am going to do rn
