Hey, this post is a tutorial on how to find working Tech-Support-Popups.
There are two ways to approach the hunt for popups:
Way 1. Using an automated tool (https://popupdb.org)
If you are pretty lazy or you don't have the possibility to find popups in your country, go to (https://popupdb.org) and scroll down to the popup section (https://popupdb.org/#popups).
All listed popups are online. That does NOT mean that the number is online as well.
Way 2. Searching them by your self
If you want to help the community or you want to have the newest possible popup, you can search by your self.
- Open Edge or a trash browser, you are not using. (Or use a VM)
- Go to https://popupdb.org/generator.
- Select the count of tabs you want to open with possible popups.
- Click on "Open Popups".
!!! Be warned, there will be some porn ads as well! !!!
If you found a working popup you can help the community by submitting it to PopupDB.
To do that go on one of our partner Discords, for example TLS or on our official Discord (https://popupdb.org).
Find the PopupDB channel and type in !add [POPUP URL].
Everything else will be done by the tool.
To get the URL of the Popup you have to escape the popup. You can do that by selecting only the tab, but not the whole browser in the task manager and then clicking on "End Task". Now you can copy the URL of the popup and submit it to PopupDB.
Thank you for reading and happy popup hunting!
