Comenity Bank Scam? (877) 213-6644

Something is dreadfully wrong here…I received a text that I had a Comenity credit card charge for Ann Sacks and I should call (877) 213-6644. While I do like to look stylish I do not have a penchant for women’s clothes.

I called and yep it was an Indian fella...but I have to admit that the voice prompts seemed pretty good. He then xferred me to someone who spoke American english. This concerned me.

A cursory glance at the inter webs returned mixed results. I know this is not the way a bank operates, however. The number is leased by Level3 so its likely legit.

Whats going on here???? Advanced scammers on the horizon or am I buying pencil skirts in my sleep?

Looking at https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-877-213-6644, there is a link to http://cnbk.co

This leads to https://d1.comenity.net/paymenthelp/faces/web/jsp/us/login/SignInDirect.jsp?phcToken=

As far as I am aware, the real bank site is https://comenity.com/ and the phone number listed there is different.
HOWEVER, I am still not sure if this is a scam, because simply navigating to https://comenity.net redirects to the legitimate website

@Telescope#161996 Agreed…if this is a scam its one that will confuse a lot of people. Im going to open a ticket with Comenity to see what’s going on. If it smells fishy it probably is…but Im not sure where exactly.

Feel free to help me with my writing campaign...the more voices the better!
