I have another call back number to go with this. Running same type of scam. As of this post I called the number and had a scammer pick up. Usual Xfinity fake menu up front, scammer on the back end.

844-212-0308 is picking up. Authentic Xfinity IVR, but still the same scammer script.
Boy oh boy they are pissed! Pretended to be the police, said they were coming to my home.
Hopefully they answer in about an hour when I get home.

So when they called me, they knew my payment info and address. Anyone know how they got that?
From when I’ve called multiple times, they have your number down as trying to get the same info trying to be a different person. If you haven’t called before with your number, I don’t know what to tell you.
When I called, they had put me on hold for about 4 minutes. My guess is that they were googling my number; thus, knowing my address. But how did they know my monthly payment? Strange…
Most likely a data breach.
Also check if your email is on https://haveibeenpwned.com/ and contact the actual Comcast & Xfinity via your account.

They set me an email and it looks legit but then started swearing at me.
Active every day this week. Called them over 40 times.
Ok, I called Xfinity’s Automated Customer Support Number (800) 934-6489. You need to say your Zip Code. If it can’t be found. you’ll need to give either your phone number or account number.
And that’s how these scammers knew my monthly payment! While on hold, they called Xfinity!
I created a textNow number and called them. They did the same: asked if this is the same number that’s on the account, mailing address and put me on hold. The came back (after about 2.5 minutes) and said the number is not attached to any account. Make me wonder what they’re doing while placed on hold…
