Me and my friends created a tool(https://trackemdown.com/) that collects and shares scammers’ digital fingerprints. It’s a URL shortener, you send scammers the link and once they open it, you see the insights (IP, location, ISP info, time when clicked, etc.) and you can flag and tag them. When another person shares their link with the same scammer, they’ll see that the scammer was previously identified. I hope you find it helpful! Also curious for any kind of feedback.
@evatorium#146018 How different is this from Grabify.link?
@PikaPikaGamer#146298 We store the fingerprints, meaning that you can see that a certain fingerprint was already identified as a scammer’s by someone else.
Seems very useful tool
@drwat#146315 thank you! We’re planning to grow it and I’d love to learn how exactly it helps and where we could improve. I mean we have our own use cases, but I’m sure we’re missing other perspectives.
