What started as a legitimate company has turned into a scam operation. Cognitoys sells toy dinosaurs that link to the internet, learn, and interact with children. Unfortunately, "the hottest toy of 2015" and its successors are no longer supported by their team or network. The dinosaur will not connect to their server and is essentially become a paperweight. If you call tech support you will get the runaround. They will tell you that your router is not supported. If you ask for a list of supported routers it is a list outdated pieces of junk.
It's common for software and hardware to no longer be supported by the manufacturer. However, these dinos are still being sold. They only function when they connect to the server, which is no longer operational. Cognitoys has the balls to start a kickstarter campaign to crowdfund their latest model. Crowdfunding is just their latest scam. They do not even have the capital to release a new model before their old one is discontinued.
