I just got a letter like this. I figured it was a scam but looked it up to confirm. I called them just to see what they would say. They acted all professional and I played along until I hit them with my secret weapon: they didn’t have the correct bank listed on the letter. He got all flustered and said “Oh, that isn’t your bank?” I said, “Nope.” He muttered something about it being a typo! (omg) and I snorted and said, “Typo. No. You guys aren’t a legitimate company.” He then hung up and when I tried to call the number back, I got “this number is no longer in service.” Totally pathetic sham; don’t fall for it.

I called this company and a salesman on a VOIP Line answered (1st red flag). So, I told him that I want my address and phone number removed from their database. He kept on asking why, so I told him what a scam business he was working for. So, he kindly asked me to validate this to him because as far as he was concerned, they have a stellar reputation and have been in business 27 years. Are sure you want me to validate this notion? He said yes and I proceeded to read off all kinds of complaints to him from the BBB, which they are not even accredited and showed they have only been in business since 2024. Then he suddenly claimed he made a mistake and that their parent company, Harbor Home Warranty has been in business 27 years. Okay, let’s take a look at them and they have an even worse reputation and have been in business since 2022. By then, he just quietly hung up on me. So, I called them back and got an automated msg stating that the number I called has been disconnected.
Real businesses don’t operate like this, folks! Do yourself a favor and shred any offers from this so called business…LOL!
