I gave them a quick burst, they freaked out and shut the number down, then came back online within 60 seconds.
I have 2 open lines into the call center currently, there is no ongoing calls by the sound of it, there is no speaking near these headsets

I’m not hearing anything else and no incoming calls
I will leave the lines open naturally.
We had an open line for 13 hours 43 minutes last week which went overnight and they only realized when they came in the next night to start their next scam shift.

That would have cost them a few bucks :rofl:

Yeah I hear the horns now and then also.

I’m trying to visualize where these headsets are laying in empty cubicles which we have these open connections to.

The boss is going to have a conniption fit at the phone cost ticking over.
I’m hoping to hear the welcome sound of (usually) an AI woman’s voice counting down the prepaid credit timer and then the even more satisfying sound of, “YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT BALANCE TO CALL THIS DESTINATION”, when their credit has been exhausted.
I have a folder with many hundreds of those recordings which we’ve run out of credit over the years.

All quiet on the home front right now apart from the occasional bursts of car horns blaring

It sounded as though the cleaner just came through and made a huge racket bashing the headset around on the desk while cleaning and wiping.
I could hear the straw broom sweeping the floor also.

These bastards have opened the number in another call center for the next overnight US shift and are active again on this number

The other call center with the open lines (on the same number) into it is relatively quiet apart from distant sounds and car horns. It has been vacated for the day.

This is from a couple of minutes ago, a totally different call center with a different crew answering the calls.
