Extra Info: These guys belong to a large network of scammers that believed I payed them In 2020. I know it’s them when the have all my fake info from that original prank call. These guys were using UltraViewer and a program I’ve never heard of called Splashtop.
They claimed I had been using their services for two years and that I owe them over $3000. They wanted a check mailed to their money mule in San Francisco. I have the address. Somehow I have to pay them to get a refund. They said they were going to charge me $6800, but I had to pay them over $3000 or something like that. Normally I would screw with them until they got mad, but I just let them talk so I could get as much information as possible for now and recorded it all. Basically the refund seemed to have turned into a tech support debt collection.
As I am posting this they believe I’m on my way to mail the check and are currently connected to my VM.
