ARREST FOOTAGE: Redirecting...
On June 10, 2025, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in Florida arrested 42-year-old Morven, Georgia resident Christina Rimes for her role as a money mule for a Social Security scam, where:
- The scammers, who are part of a “Georgia state Prison gang,” made fraudulent calls under the guise of a North Carolina sheriff to falsely claim their victims (in this case, an elderly Daytona Beach resident) were subject to arrest.
- In order to “prove their innocence,” the victims will be asked to withdraw $17,000 from their bank accounts and deposit the money into a crypto wallet operated by Rimes.
- The stolen money would then be transferred to the prison commissary account for her husband, John William Thornton, who is currently serving a 20-year sentence in Hancock State Prison for statutory rape.

Many people on here said that these PoS were working out of a Georgia prison. The lack of prison supervision in Georgia say’s a lot about how corrupt their state government is.
