Additional information about this scam: Earlier today I received the following two texts from two different numbers telling me to again call two different numbers, on my talkatone regarding home warranty. The text messages were 18 minutes apart.
Text Message 1 [RECEIVED AT 3:03 PM UK TIME] from (402) 285-4546: Protect your abode with a reliable home warranty. To find out more call +18447880194 STOP to end
Text Message 2 [RECEIVED AT 3:21 PM UK TIME] from (509) 266-0873: Protect your abode with a dependable home warranty. To find out more call +18882714864 STOP to end
“CHOICE HOME WARRANTY” - (844) 788-0194 (Press 1, 1 again then choose your option) - YOU CAN ONLY CALL THIS NUMBER ONCE SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SECOND NUMBER HANDY
“CHOICE HOME WARRANTY” - (888) 271-4864 (Press 1, 1 again then choose your option) - YOU CAN ONLY CALL THIS NUMBER ONCE SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SECOND NUMBER HANDY, I chose option 1 for this specific number by the way - guy didn’t identify himself and was confused why I got the text message and very quickly hung up on me for no reason, barely talked/let me talk.
