Cheapo Air

known scammers and really stupid smh

I used a fake name and fake card generator and kept them on a call for more than an hour giving them bullshit information :joy:

18887934235

Talked to fake Roman, Nelson and Leo

it works lol

I hit them serially a few times. Shooting fish in a barrel.

Tried to get them for half an hour or so with some funny fake call nonsense and man, the dude I had was… nice. I’ll give him that. But, they’re still scammers. Hell, even got his supervisor to do something about it, but wouldn’t hang up the call either, so I did it anyway after the time lapsed. Funny moment though.

Did another baiting to them again. I… forgot to even record it, but this guy… another good person. (still a dumb scammer)

Tried to do a flight to Atlanta from Chicago. Literally jacked the price upward, and wasted 30 minutes of his time.

I soundblasted him when he tried played script on me. He manned through the soundblast and told me to have a nice day.

If a sound that’s supposed to kill the ears doesn’t phase him, I don’t know what will. Funny time I’ll admit.

+1(646)738-4943 belongs to them. I told them that I would fly from Norfolk to Mogadishu, Somalia! I gave him a bunch of bullshit info on my credit card.

This bitch tryna book me a flight from Dullus to Chicago then to Istanbul then to Heathrow.

I asked for a direct flight washington to heathrow

Ok, I think I’ve worked out how this works. These guys are a ā€œlegitā€ travel agency but they seem to include weird taxes and costs at checkout. However around 2 weeks after the flight has returned they send threatening emails to certain customers (I imagine its those who they deem vulnerable) and tell them that they owe an additional sum (usually around $40 per person but I saw a reddit post where it said $200 per person) for taxes and fees.

However the people manning the call center are not the same people who are spoken to about these taxes. As soon as you mention the email they get their supervisor who puts you through to a different department that actually runs this part of the scam. As far as most of these people are concerned they work for a legit business.

@Callymcg#66486 oh well still scammers xd who were u talking to I was speaking to andro lmao

Cant remember now, I ended up calling 3 at the same time and getting them to talk to each other for the fun of it.

i told a guy im flying to chernobyl with british airways

I believe the number initially listed (888-793-4235) is actually legitimate. I talked to someone for about 10-15 minutes and had a hunch things were legit. If you go to CheapOair’s actual website (https://www.cheapoair.com), the number listed in the first post is the one listed on their own website.

I didn't call them out as scammers because I had a gut feeling they weren't. In hindsight I'm glad I didn't. Probably should remove that '888' number. They may have shady business practices (I'm not particularly familiar), but I don't think this business falls under the category of people we should be harassing (assuming they actually provide airline tickets to their patrons).

646-738-4943, on the other hand, could be a scam number.
