Could someone possibly tell me how I can do this with FireRTC or link/write a tutorial for me? I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time but I have not been able to get it to work. What I do is set my number to the scammers’ and then call the scammers with that CID and it just treats me like any other person on any number I do it to.
@derpycanadian#41930 Your basic approach is right. When the scammer is not picking the phone, generally pressing * asks for passcode. Try 0000 or 1234 or 123456. Do no try more than two times (system will lock you out). Hangup and repeat with different passcode tries. Not all phone companies have the same routine.
The easiest are new numbers where the announcement is like “the voice mailbox has not yet been setup”. In that case it prompts you to enter a fresh password. Hard work but easiest are the new numbers.
