Scammer befriended me on Facebook to ask me about the CDBG program, here’s what she had to say:
"It's Community Development Block Grant ,It's a special program to help the Disable, Self Employed, Retired and all Workers individual. They compensate me $150,000 when i apply for it the money is Free which i won't have to pay it back. did you get yours from them, Do you know how to apply for it??"
The scammer gave me their number and later called my number. After I hung up, I swiftly received this text message:
"Okay, when considering claiming the first step is to know what type of organization you represent or whether you are applying as an individual
Can I have your full name with address?"
