CBI RAIDS, shuts down transnational crime network as part of Op. Chakra-III (26 ARRESTED!)

As part of the ongoing Operation Chakra-III in cooperation with the United States Department of Homeland Security and other various law enforcement agencies, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in India conducted a coordinated strike to dismantle a massive transnational cybercrime network across 32 different locations. This includes the following call centers:

  • M/s V.C. Infrometrix Private Limited at Regent Plaze, Pune and Murli Nagar, Vishakhapatnam
  • M/s Viajex Solutions in Hyderabad
  • M/s Atriya Global Services Private Limited in Vishakhapatnam

26 key operatives were arrested during these raids for violating India’s Information Technology Act of 2000 and the newly-enacted BNSS Act of 2023 for facilitating tech support scam operations. 951 electronic devices and $69,741.49 in Indian rupees, locker keys and high-end luxury vehicles were seized as a result,

I noticed that the email and text messages from a repeat offender scammer group have stopped for just over a week now. Hopefully the ‘Dear Custome’ guy’s with the green backgrounds are no more. Only time will tell if they pop their heads out of the pile of feces that they call home.

I’ve notived that too when i heard about these raids i could not find phishing pages online but last week it was F*ing crazy
