No surprises CarShield give zero fucks about their customers who they blatantly rip off with policies that go around in circles to eventually end up contradicting themselves to void all claims for repairs when they feel like itā€¦which is virtually in every instance

Probably only a lawyer can answer this: If a company makes outgoing sales phone calls, does that destroy their ability to complain about ā€œtelephony denial of service attacksā€ in federal civil court, if a few people call in to them?

Companies such as these donā€™t care in the slightest about being prosecuted or fined the couple of grand for robocalling. Them complaining about being hit with a few prank calls has been going on for years, most of them donā€™t care and is why they have so many active inbound numbers, itā€™s impossible to tie up every number and every operator.

The maximum penalties for violations of the do not call register are a bigger joke than the FCC themselves and robocallers donā€™t show any fear of prosecution.

Iā€™ve read in one of the hundreds of judgements against one of the worst serial robocallers in existence, Yakim Manasseh Jordan from Prophet Manasseh Jordan Ministries, laughs at the magistrates or judges as they hand down the maximum penalty under the law each time for him being a serial pest random number dialing robocaller.
He laughs in their faces and has openly said while you losers are fining me new a few grand, I just made another few million. Please keep this charade up and make me even richer.

Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday Nomorobo is littered with hundreds of thousands of robocalls from every one of his numbers with the latest ā€œmiracle number, or press 1, press 1, press 1ā€ irritating messages.
These same numbers have all been active weekly for the past few years

Thank you. One of the car warranty places has used the same lawyer as a travel agency, that gave this website a hard time a few years ago. It would be interesting if he tried to sue for ā€œdenial of serviceā€ for a place clearly making outgoing sales calls

The numbers seem to be provided by a variety of telecom companies. Running a few samples, I got Sinch, Neutral Tandem, Onvoy. These are the usual Onvoy family of companies. Thereā€™s also some IP Horizon sprinkled in which is a responsible provider and will investigate reports of their network being used for fraud but these kind of operations are gray area and tricky to get taken down as fraud.
