Car Warranty Scammer

I have received repeated calls from +1-608-219-7831 claiming to be in regards to an expiring car warranty (which I don’t have) and trying to solicit a credit card number. It’s a recording, no answer on callback, no response to VMs. Calls are about once per week.

I've had the line tied up for about 40 minutes now with an automated script to dial the number, hang up when VM answers, and immediately redial. Spoke to the local police for where the number is registered, said they weren't able to do anything unless I know who it is. If you guys have a better solution, I'd love to see them get canned.

Thanks!

@DEAD_P1XL#51705 I’m surprised the police won’t do anything.

I suggest, if you really want to take them down, auto flood the scammers thousands of times. It’ll get them tired and some scammers do close the number after enough calls. Alternatively, you could hack the voicemail saying that they’re scammers, but that’s more complicated than the first one.

Hope this helped.

Edit: None of them are answering. Maybe the number is already out of service.

@mangomonster#51716 How do you hack a voicemail?

@Flinty94#51793 Lol tbh I actually don’t know, but there’s videos on Youtube.
