Additional information about this scam: This was your standard car warranty extension phone call. They had some old info that I gave scammers a long time ago, about a name that isn’t mine, car I’ve never owned, physical address I never had etc. I went through the motions, had him explain the plans, chose an option, gave him a fake card info and then said a bunch of Mexican stereotypes and blocked the number. Took about 17 minutes. You could hear a call center with a few other people on the line that I hope weren’t getting scammed.
Anyway it could be a fake number as I get a lot of Connecticut numbers. I didn’t try calling it back.
