I googled the address and it comes back to a UPS store in Birmingham.

Interesting! They’re closed now but I’ll call back tomorrow. The info that I gathered from their greeting is that they’re open Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM PST and Saturday 7:30 AM to 4 PM PST.

@Angeld40#96472 are you sure it’s a scam?

For example I owned a Toyota Avensis and it also got recalled due to a defective airbag. My one was legit.

But true, “The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency” looks to scammy to be true…

When I called earlier it read out my phone number and asked to confirm. It then said something to the effect of “your number is not in our database” so I don’t know if it’s truly a scam yet either. My intentions are to find out tomorrow.

It could be legit but the people behind it could be scammers. If you want me to take it down I will. Just seems like the next level scam from the car warranty people.

I called as promised. Had to fight with the menu to get transferred. Was on a long hold but eventually got transferred to a professional sounding lady wanting to know what vehicle I was calling in about. May be legit, it sounded like it anyway, sorry. Thanks for sharing though!

Here’s the recording of the call for further examination if anyone’s interested. This isn’t really a “prank” just trying to find out what they’re like. Later on it turns out a friend of mine looked into this further and it is absolutely legitimate.
