Supportly is an Indian scam call center @devilforscams reported for impersonating Microsoft. While I was unable to bait them from my Google Voice and TextNow lines, @FIREFIGHTER619 verified their number as belonging to “suppoat”
The scammers were just caught impersonating Amazon and PayPal, spoofing Verizon numbers to send fraudulent text messages regarding false charges for FitBit smart watches.
The first bhenchod I spoke to refused to “suppoat” after answering as “PayPal,” so I called back and got ahold of “Sam Parker,” who would rather fuck a camel than provide “suppoat” and even berated me for “yelling” when I was using my normal speaking voice.
I then got ahold of “Peter” who remotely connected to my virtual machine through Supportly, which reveals their true identity as Captive App Innovation Technologies Private Limited, and asked me to log into my email account before installing UltraViewer.
Once remotely connected to my virtual machine via UltraViewer, “Peter” attempted to view the passwords I saved on my web browser, the downloads and all other saved files, then my webcam to no avail.
After asking me if I do online banking or online shopping, “Peter” accused me of recording the call and using a voice changer before asking me to log into my nonexistent bank account and viewing my browser history.
Once he refused to “suppoat,” I told him off and laughed at the fact that I got his personal IP address.
Not sure how helpful this would be, but an OSINT search into the Indian number here (+91 12448-98864) shows that it was found in a data leak from earlier this year, under the name Saurav Goel, address 954 9TH floor gnd Megapolis Sona Road Near Subhash Chowk 120001.
