“Failed to appear for federal jury duty”
Used for two different county fake sheriff calls, one to Canyon County Idaho, and Cape County MO
Upon looking further, it looks to be used all over the place.
They said I missed jury duty for federal services. They left a local number for me to call for the police station. I live in a different area code from the 202.

Scammer saying he is my county sheriff James Miller. Wanted me to email [email protected] and call 503-503-9869, when the call came from Wash DC. Said I didn’t show up for grand jury duty Aug 29. Had my name correct.
My sheriff is a woman. She has been my sheriff since 2021.
Call also carried on about COVID protocols, no one uses them anymore except hospitals.
