Can a scammer find my new address?

Several months ago a scammer sent me money by PayPal to send to someone else. But I kept all the money and stopped communication with him. I transferred the money to my bank and closed my PayPal account. The scammer has been finding other ways to contact me which included sending a policeman to my house. I told the officer I knew nothing about it.

When this I happened, I rented a room in someones home (my roommate wasn’t home when the police officer came). So I could easily pack up and move as I didnt have much stuff.

I immediately searched Craigslist to find another room to rent and moved a couple days later.

It’s been 9 months since I moved to my current place. Nothing has happened since nor have I been in contact with the scammer.

About 3 months ago the scammer contacted me via the Telegram app and said he knew I moved out of my previous place and knows where I currently live. I asked him where do I live now. He refused to say because he thought that would prompt me to move again. He says he will find me sooner or later.

As of this day nothing has happened. But I’m concerned he can find my info somehow. He has my DOB and SSN but I have LifeLock, and I have not received any notifications about my personal info being used.

Could he eventually find my new address?

See with your local police on information orders about yourself. Hopefully they can restrict any more of your information being received.

You received the money and you can do what ever you wanted with it, by law you don't have to pass it on.

and don't give your DOB and SSN to someone on the internet.
