Previously +1 (916) 409-7892 has been a cell phone line operated through the carrier - Pacific Bell and used for running social security scams. A scammer calls and leaves a voicemail stating that the reason for calling is due to “your social security number has been found suspicious for certain illegal activities. It is very time sensitive and urgent that I do hear back from you before we proceed further with suspension of your social security and assets. My direct call back number is 916-409-7892”.
As of September 26, 2019 at 3.15AM (EST), the phone carrier - Pacific Bell has suspended this number from further use - number taken down and no longer in operation. This number may need to be monitored for scammer re-surface attempts due to number recycling by the carrier.
