alright i got this call saying that they were giving a “lazyboy but better” to people who have used their partner’s medical device. for shipment they asked me to confirm details, starting easy with name and dob, then they straight up asked for my social security number. when i asked why they said “it is not stored on file or shared with anyone it is just used to confirm your [something, i forget]”.
earlier in the call i asked if that is the right number to call back if i got disconnected and she said yes, and when i called back after hanging up i got the same initial bot. please harass these identity theifs, thanks.
