So every time i call a number on BobRTC it always says call ended. Is there something wrong with my browser or is this like a normal thing on the platform?
Probably not. A lot of the numbers are sent into call purgatory by the scammers after we bury them with hundreds of calls.
The two SSA numbers I attacked today both went to immediate hangup after I deluged them with calls.
Try some of the Microsoft Support numbers (non toll-free) and they should at least go to voicemail if not actually route you to a person.
@ScamSoft#105601 You should at least be hearing carrier messages indicating the phone number isn’t in service. This sounds like a user side error that can be caused by a multitude of things. I’ll list off all that I’m able to right now and edit the post further if I think of any additional reasons later. Most commonly, this is caused because either you do not have any usable recording device plugged in/enabled or you did not grant the website permission to use your microphone. If you’re not already, it’s suggested you use a main-stream web browser, like Google Chrome, FireFox, Opera etc. the same goes for mobile devices (browsers such as Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, are not just unsupported, but do not implement the webRTC standard which the service relies on). If you have any ad/content blockers or similar browser add-ons which “protect your privacy”, try disabling them while on BobRTC and finally; if you are using a VPN, make sure any features which block webRTC are turned off and if you are given the choice of a transport protocol to use, make sure it’s set to UDP. Although, there isn’t any need to use a VPN on this service, the person you call has no way of directly obtaining your IP address. I hope this helps… please ask any additional questions you may have.
In case one of the previously mentioned issues was not causing your problem, it would help us if you could share which browser, operating system and device your using (PC, Mac, phone, tablet etc).
Thank you

@Norm_Harrison#105611 I use Microsoft Edge but i might switch over to chrome
@ScamSoft#105614 Aha… yeah, that is 100% the reason why it’s not working. Edge is being discontinued eventually, so it most likely won’t ever receive true webRTC support. It should work right away once you try it on an alternate browser, but please post here again if it doesn’t.
Microsoft is so big that they can almost get away with not following IETF html standards and just make software that people will use no matter what. Almost. Because when they deviate past a point, developers get so pissed that they stop writing code for their sites such that it fits with that browser and instead tell users to switch. This is the way of Edge.
@Norm_Harrison#105615 It works thank you for your help
@Alphu#105616 i saw you videos and i was wondering if you want to help me scambait
@ScamSoft#105617 I run Safari here on my Mac and found it’s far to restricted, Chrome allows external Input and Output devices to be used… Perfect for my Voice Transformer and Head phones…
Chrome is the best I have come across Period.

People actually use Edge?
@ShamelessOldGeezer#105804
Only if the world of browsers died suddenly and Edge was the only one remaining,
and I had to do something really minor in order to survive...
Cause it struggles with anything too hard...
Much like Microsoft in general to be honest.
@ShamelessOldGeezer#105804 yes but i mainly use it for youtube
