These scammers do voicemail drops and cold calls quite frequently. They do not seem to have a company name and typically answer as “business loan center.” At the end of their automated messages it says “have a blessed day,” obviously trying to appeal to an older crowd. This is a group of American scammers, most likely based in Florida.
Just a heads up, this company closes in the evenings around 4pm Pacific time and is also closed on weekends. They do have a voicemail box though.
I have also had an employee admit to me that the company is a huge scam but that he didn't care because he earned a lot of money. Sadly I did not manage to get that recorded.
@ThomasOMalley#101209. Thank you for documenting this experience. Here is most of what I have uncovered. http://scammer.info/d/6814-federal-action-against-scammers
Do you get other scam phone calls during regular business hours with a predictable frequency? When you ignore them... Do you get texts?
Yes, I get frequent phone calls and occasional texts from scammers, primarily the various American scammers located in Florida. I have figured out the identity of most of these American scam companies which contact me however this business loan scam is a bit more illusive and does not seem to have a real name or website.
I found this article which discusses business loan scams and mentions several tactics that are used by these “business loan center” scammers. It is shockingly close to how these scammers operate.
