You will probably need admin access not sure there is a way around it but many scammers operate on personal laptops/pcs not just in call centers.

Why brick a machine if you can stay silent and save victims and gather more of their information in hopes of getting them raided?
Really (and this is usually for refund and windows tech support scams) The best solution I have imposed (which really sounds stupid) but rather messing with the scammer’s computer’s themselves, shut off the computer of the victims. While I do not know the legality of it, If you shut off the computer, and try to get the popup off the browser, the scammer could get spooked when someone out of no where gets on their remote viewing software with them. sometimes, we have to take baby steps.
