Anyone from BobRTC team knows why this evening we are not able to add numbers?
When I click on “save”, no action takes place.
Probably due to new edits to remove the scammer.info link box. Will investigate and install a fix.
@drwat#126715 Fix has been implemented. I was able to reproduce the problem and correct it.
FARK - Any chance of a reconciliation?
I always tried my darndest to cross reference between here and Bob in a best attempt effort trying not to double post numbers or add new ones into threads where the primary culprits number switch constantly.
The linking of scammers, their number at the ready to dial and any possible info on them just became a cross referencing, time sucking endeavor which it can be anyway at the best of times trying to put 2 & 2 together.
I feel for everyone involved in this fiasco even without understanding the full politics involved for lack of a better term, so other than a personal opinion on the ramifications I feel are forthcoming I am not going to take a side but I really wish this wasn't what seems more and more a reality.
Two more words ... damn it!
@ThatAussieBoganBloke#126718 They say time heals all wounds.
I know stripping the links is painful for users and it's not what I wanted to see happen.I'm not going to go into it more (there's already a thread on this), but my feeling is things are going in a bad way with leadership here and we don't want to engage in this partnership anymore.
The divorce means that BobRTC will have to also carry its own research content. We launched without it and relied on scammer.info for that service. We will take scammer.info into consideration when building out the solution to host research content in addition to a number of other services like TSU, as well as directly pulling in resources from Nomorobo, Robokiller, Reddit, etc. The linking feature as it was during launch will now be permanently retired while we begin work on what the replacement for it looks like.
In the meantime we have added notifications when new numbers are added, they get posted by BobBot in the NumberLobby and a popup sound has been added when you're in BobRTC to draw your attention to fresh new entries that are made. I don't know how long Thunder will allow users here to link to BobRTC, if at all, but that's his call, not ours.
I can't say what the future brings but at the present moment our team has no faith in the leadership of this place and trust is dwindling.
We're going to keep improving BobRTC and hopefully this divorce also means a far reduced amount of drama that interrupts progress on the project.
ScammerBlaster is partnered with Thunder now and by Feb 14 or so he's supposed to have a new dial platform and it will have all the bells and whistles so maybe that will work out.
I’ve seen the other thread and read through the entirety without trying to feel any bias.
It is the "higher powers" decision on both of your parts which I at least feeling as a lesser have no say in whatsoever and I guess everybody must accept the inevitable truth it seems.
On both sides of this flipped coin however, let us all remember that the one common denominator in all, or at the very least the vast majority of us is to wreak havoc on a scammers day so with that, all the very best to everyone in doing so.
@Kenzo#126717 Thanks. It is working very smoothly now.
@ThatAussieBoganBloke#126722 Rightly stated.
@Kenzo#126720 If this happens then i stop this bullshit
@Kenzo#126720 lol it’s cute how you try to blame me for this. this is all your doing, you’re a troll.
