Received a SSA scam to my real cell phone just now. Went to Bobrtc to post number so I could call them back. The number the SSA Scammers used was 1-800-290-0144, I called it from Bobrtc and it was connected to a real company named AK Steel out of Ohio. I originally thought I posted a incorrect number on Bobrtc but that was not the case as I verified numerous times via my caller ID.
I did get in touch with someone at AK Steel to warn them of what occurred.
Do not call this number.

Please before posting a number on BobRTC, especially when it’s SSA/IRS scammers who often spoof their numbers, make sure the number also connects to the scammer by calling it one time on other services like TextNow or FireRTC if you can
