BobRTC Recording Suggestion

Hey! I’m loving the new recording feature, but I was wondering if you could add a feature where the recordings also include just your channel for audio mixing? So far there’s only Full Audio, and Scammers Audio. Thanks!

@Cloudz#103988 I hadn’t thought of that, I didn’t really see the usefulness of it… I think I’m only allowed to do two recording files at once with the mechanism I am using. Maybe I could do 3? I’d have to experiment on a test switch to see if that is even possible.

BTW the Save checkbox is not relevant right now and does not work, and we aren't using the Privacy column right now or the call length.

When we have the public recording site up you'll be able to publish recordings to it (and get a link to the published recording you can share, just like on FireRTC). From there people can +1 like your audio and stuff. You can also set it to unlisted so that Google doesn't notice it (however if you share the link on sites that are Google-indexed, Google will find it and index it anyway)

Thanks for the detailed reply. I guess the use in it would be Audio Mixing, as I said earlier. Like if you had a part where a Scammer was particularly loud and the viewer couldn’t hear you. Or when where you yourself where you were hard to hear, having the ability to edit the channels separately then mix them together would be a great help.

Other suggestions to (relatively small) features would be:

1: Page counter to the list
- When refreshing the page it takes you back to page 1. If you were at page 5 when you did it, it's hard to find it... but if you knew where you were when you did it that would make it easier to go back there
2: "Something" in the list that shows which recording is playing.
- When cleaning up in the list, listening/deleting, you have to look for the one you're listening to... to delete it or to see which one you're going to listen to next. Something as simple as another color of the text or the button would be enough to see which is the loaded recording.
