BobRTC really needs direct calling for testing purposes

I heard from the BobRTC team that they will take away credits, XP, etc for giving bad numbers. Thing is, there’s no way to test them. We need this so there will be fewer bad numbers.

The reason is mainly that people purposely post McDonald’s numbers to prank. I don’t think that you need to test a number when you’re submitting an obvious legitimate number because that’s the intention anyway that kids have. We won’t punish people for posting a scammer number that just got down after a while.

For spoofed numbers like SSA / IRS scammers use, yes I see the problem there.

Ah, okay. Maybe something like marking numbers with labels could be handy then (for example, you could have an exclusive not working label that if too many people attach to a number will remove it, and/or a favourite label for numbers you find with context so you can scambait knowing what to say, or numbers that you just like, etc.)
