When I use Bob RTC on Firefox it seems to work fine. But when I try it in my Google chrome browser it immediately hangs up. At first I thought the numbers weren’t good. But then I tried them in the Firefox browser and they work fine does anybody know why this might be happening ?
No problems for me using Chrome (or Firefox) this morning. Check your microphone settings. The last time I had trouble with immediate hangups, my microphone wasn’t enabled on Chrome.
I use brave and it works perfectly
@ZeroKool#121759 Chrome hasn’t given BobRTC permission to use your microphone. Directly to the left of the address bar is a picture of a lock. Click that lock. Make sure that the microphone is set to allow.
I confirm what Geezer says there with a slight caveat.
Each time I close Chrome, prior to doing so I always Ctrl + H and clear my History from the beginning of time.

Agree to the Cookie notice ->
Click login and enter my details ->
Enter my 2FA (and now at initial BobRTC default page) ->
Click any number which will start dialing and so Google prompts for microphone usage ->
Allow
On rare occasions I will have a browser freezing issue and sometimes reload issues but it is my choice to use Chrome and not that big of a time issue to get it all working again - hence it is a small price to pay on those rare occasions for using the awesome BobRTC :)
