I know that scammer.info isn’t associated with BobRTC but I assume that other people use it here.
When I try to call scammers on BobRTC the microphone doesn’t pick up, and they can’t hear me.
I’m using a iPhone on iOS 14 beta with AirPods. I have microphone access enabled for the site.
Any help?
@ThatPikachuMain#153477 This unfortunately has been an ever since Apple first implemented WebRTC in Safari/iOS on iOS 11. While I haven’t tested myself in awhile, from what I’ve heard in the past this usually only occurs when using the phones built-in microphone, but should work when using an externally attached microphone (bluetooth, 3.5mm port). But… if you’re using AirPods, I think those have a microphone in them… so either their microphone isn’t being used, or having an external one doesn’t fix it. If you haven’t tried, maybe test some alternate web browsers?
@Norm_Harrison#153483 I tried using wired EarPods and although, just like with using the phone’s normal microphone port, audio registered on the microphone, scammers were unable to hear me.
