No new phonebook moderators will be permitted on the BobRTC moderation team who are TLS/Scammer.info members of staff.
Those people who are still staff members of both web properties may continue in their roles, but once a conflict arises, if one arises, you will be asked to leave.
We have decided on this split due to repeated conflicts between staffs on both web properties.
A new development has made us to go through with decision:
The owner of this website has decided to embrace ScammerBlaster, an individual who WAS extremely toxic in scambaiting, who has destroyed Discord servers, who has DDoSed other scambaiters, and who has threatened to doxx them.
We cannot work with ScammerBlaster or around people who are destructive like this in the scambaiting community.
Either way, ScammerBlaster has announced that he will be launching a dial platform that will "put BobRTC out of business" in about 2 weeks, so we wish him well and God speed on his new adventure.

ScammerBlaster hasn’t been trolling for a while now & his website has a live chat feature to help scam victims… meanwhile you’re here creating drama & separating 2 scambaiting websites because of some drama on Discord. It’s really sad lol.

You’re wrong about one thing. The drama isn’t one sided. You have hypocrites running your discord server, and you’re barely around to see what all goes on. When you do show up, instead of listening to all parties, all you ever say is “you guys are toxic” or call people “cunt”.
"ScammerBlaster hasn't been trolling for a while now" means nothing. How many people has he gone after, DDoS'd, doxed in the past? Have you forgotten? How many communities has he already destroyed (2 that I know of)? How long until you let ToxicJames back in?

Um, the thing that you were shown about me being a "cunt" was when I was commenting about when I said something to the effect of "I don't have to put out fires anymore" in a casual chat w/ others. What I meant was when people are getting excited in main chat and kinda borderline shitposting sometimes I would come in and the discussion would stop because I was a mod. It made me sad kuz I couldn't sit there and kinda shitpost when things were slow. I didn't mean I would do anything against you. Ended up having a long conversation with a staff member and he saw I really wasn't trying to stir up drama (at the time, I'm not perfect). Platonically love you dude. Hope this kinda blows over, I'll come back in a few months if your cool with that.
I think scammer.info is a good site, and i dont really care about bringing blaster back. I think it may end badly but that's just my opinion, and it doesn't really matter what I think. I HOPE I AM WRONG! I hope his dial platform absolutely destroys bobrtc in use ability because at one point we were sleeping in shifts to stop crazy shit from erupting on bobrtc. I went to bed stressed, woke up stressed, and was stressed at work. It sucked.
Blaster, my advice is:
1- get some people from each timezone EVEN if you need to shore up a shift with a paid cs meat bot. You need to sleep once in a while.
2- hosts have bandwidth limits but they don't tell you packet per second limits. Your gonna need something capable of 65k packets per second per 10 calls. If you want 100 calls on a single IP, you need 650k and so on. Send a quick email to your host making sure their router on the rack can handle it.
3- you will run out of open files per user under sysctl. U can set this dynamically and just keep upping it as needed until you set it permanent using -w flag.
4- Never trust Chinese hosts even if the data center is in the EU, UK, or US. I'm not racist but trust me on this, you will get unexpected outages because their shit-tastic trouters will fucking explode. They will power suspend you. And never. Ever. Ever use HP proliants. Not joking. OVH is really really good for VoIP as they have routers built like tanks and they own their own undersea cables so you don't have the conjested public ones. A FR or UK or CA could do as a single server instead of having a army of them on random providers.
5- learn how to tunnel your cdn's input ipv4 to your ipv6 addresses. Sometimes a traffic spike can null route an address for 30 mins. You can get 65535 ipv6 for like a dollar a month. You can make an api script to cycle these or use any cast to round robin them as they go down. Slobrtc has never gone down from an attack, and little bits of effort can keep blasterrtc up.
As an outsider to all that is going on behind the scenes, I just wanted to mention how much I loved this community when I started out back in like August (some time around there)
This has been an extremely fun community to be in for the time I was active on discord, and terrorizing scammers. Having to accumulate the sort of energy it takes to scambait is hard for me. So having come back recently, and seeing all the drama… it’s heart wrenching. I was never a huge part of the community or forums, but I felt welcome here. That’s something I haven’t experienced in an online community, is truly being welcomed into the experience.
I’ve talked to a TON of good people here on TLS, and I think that a majority of the people here are really nice. I’ve never spoken with thunder, but he seems like a nice dude to have a community this large. Techline? He’s a pleasure in voice chat. Kenzo, I don’t know much about you, and I can tell you care about this community, but I don’t think I have seen any of the back and fourth (or original post) contain strictly civil wording, as this has read pretty passively-aggressive pretty much top and bottom. I have no idea of SB, his ‘reputation’ or whatever, I’ve been gone for a long time… But my dude, calling people names doesn’t solve anything. It’s just argumentum ad hominem catch 22 here. I’m not saying people can’t change, and I’m also not saying they can. I’m just struggling to understand why everyone is fighting with such harsh, caustic language. I have only one question that we should all be asking ourselves in this time of… adversity.
Are we being the people Mr Rogers knew we could be?
Now, I’m not saying it is correct to DDoS /anyone/, nor am I saying that I believe anybody is innocent here. In fact, I support you doing whatever makes you happy, and I really hope you do pursue what makes you feel whole and happy. I am also extremely saddened that you had to endure the tireless name-calling mess that was going on, and sadly I cannot do anything to fix that. I’d just like to say, I appreciate the work you’ve done, and I really hope this whole ordeal comes to a peaceful conclusion. I wish for everyone involved the possibility to see a better way, and any and all who are doing immoral things see a better path for themselves in life. I’m not saying I know for sure about the actions of others, however it does pain me to see the mention of DDoSing, server flooding, and the prospect of using software as leverage… I know that we can do better, all of us. We all have the same common goal, right? Making scammers think twice!
Basically, I care about all of you for being involved in the same common community, even if I don’t know any of you that are involved in this thread. It’s just the human thing to do, to care about one another.
I feel I probably do not have anything else of value to add to this conversation, but I want all of you to know I care about you, and love you (platonically, as a human being) and hope you reach the stars and then some.
