Thanks a lot, but, I get this message:
“This key is not correct. Please follow the directions and enter your six-digit Pass Key.”
Arrgh!
And, I was trying enter a phone number for the 2FA verification, not into the phone book.
9 hours later I get a text with a different 6 digit code… that doesn’t work either
@markel_m45#121589 It is because you keep loading pages from BobRTC after you were presented with a validation password.
Each time you keep loading pages on BobRTC it's going to change the validation password on you, and each time that happens the key also changes. It is done that way to eliminate any chance that the key can be brute-force guessed.
When you get the validation screen on BobRTC you should stop attempting to load pages on BobRTC until you have gone over to Discord to obtain the key.
I should have added instructions to my original post, I do apologize.
When you log in and get the activate account page, you will be given a password and a link to a discord server. Once you click that link, log into Discord and join that server.
Once you are phone verified with Discord, type !getkey into the discord chat text box. The VerificationBot will send you a message asking for the password from the BobRTC verification page. Type that password into the message box and if entered correctly, VerificationBot will give you a 6 character code.
Go back to the BobRTC webpage and type that code in and hit submit. If entered correctly, you're all done!
NOTE 1: If you have typed !getcode and the bot tells you that your bobrtc website code is invalid, try changing your discord name to something completely random with letters and numbers all over. This occurs when two people have the same discord name. This is a known Discord OAuth API bug.
NOTE 2: If you refresh the BobRTC verification page or browse to another BobRTC page before entering the code, the password will change and you'll have to get a new code. Just go back to the Discord server and type !getcode again.
NOTE 3: This discord server requires telephone authentication. Discord does not share your telephone information with BobRTC.

If you are talking about phone verification, that is done by discord, and I believe they only allow landline and cell numbers. If you are worried about privacy, you can usually find cheap burner sim cards, at least around here you can.
