Blocking rather than ignoring members?

Sorry if this is covered somewhere. Just noticed this morning that I got “followed” by a member here that has no posts, yet follows a ton of active members. I can only imagine that this someone watching activity for scammer related reasons. Is there anyway to block this user from my activity?

Thank you.

I seem to be followed by that same user, and even worse, that profile seems to be hidden…

@jonathanballs93, thank you for the self-report, ENJOY YOUR PERMANENT BAN!

Associated Email Address: [email protected]

I have checked the member’s account and found it to be operated out of Jamaica, a country known for PCH scams.

I sadly don’t know if you can block other forum users at this particular time, but I’ll keep an eye on them if anything fishy comes up.

Thank you @OfclyGoodenough

Sounds good enough, thanks

The account follows me also. I don’t know what important info they get from my investigations into the favorite colors of scammers….

But assuming the worst hypothesis, that this is someone acting at contrary purposes to the users of this forum. Your postings here are readable by the whole world on the Internet, whether or not they have an account on this site, and regardless of whether they “follow” your account.

In any case, my advice is that you should never publish anything that you wouldn’t want people to read and attribute to you.
