No transaction history or pending transactions on wallet 16FTWHHQkarvHqnYDQhs2v1qLN5njni1rF

@ATOhelpline#154484 sadly there we’re no link

@Telescope#154500 I notice that also when looking at the blockcahin transaction history it’s a empty wallet no BTC in it looks like a fresh wallet

@krazydelta#154508 Yes, it’s a fresh wallet. To me this suggests 3 options:

  • 1.

Nobody has paid as it looks too much like a scam (After all, hardly anyone will use guitar20 as a passcode and visit specific sites). Most plausible option.

  • 2.

The email is taylor made to you, but this is unlikely in my opinion as it is just does not seem financially viable to run this sort of blackmail business, getting victims one after the other considering not everyone will pay. And sites have better security than in the past.

  • 3.

He’s typed the wrong wallet ID by mistake (very, very unlikely but a possibility).

  • @krazydelta Can you tell me the sender’s email address and the reply address?

Also, what do you think will happen if you reply “Yeah”, normal scams will not do this so it seems rather odd.

@Telescope#154542 lucky I sent him a reply but can’t get tru cause it says it’s unreachable

@Telescope#154540 The “password” thing is actually from some site data breach
