I called a few more times, and each interaction was different.
After pretending that I couldn’t go to the bank, they asked for my card information. I provided a fake one, of course, but they tried using it on Remitly.com. These scammers are pretty lazy and gullible, they believed just about anything I said. When they stayed on my PC and saw me Google “Contact FBI,” they quickly backpedaled and told me to keep the money as a “gift.”
I managed to get two “personal cell phone numbers” from them, but they turned out to be just Google Voice numbers, so they’re not much of a lead. Here they are:
