Additional information about this scam: My mom bought a puzzle from this site for 39.98 USD and after the purchase, she did not receive any communication from the shop. She asked me to investigate this site. Here’s what I found:

  1. The payment processor they use with prefix RH * works with scam sites. RH *binerlay.com is their statement descriptor.
  2. The website contains many spelling mistakes, such as “PayPal Patment” and bad grammar.
  3. The email they use is random-looking and invalid.
  4. They say they accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, PayPal, and eCheck, however, when checking out, Visa and Mastercard are the only payment methods.
  5. They claim to be the company Kentesh Ltd registered in the UK. According to Companies House, the company is valid.
  6. Their store uses a CMS that appears to be Shopify and they mention that but upon closer inspection, it turns out to be a Chinese knock-off.
  7. The domain was registered at NameSilo 2022-12-14 and uses WHOIS privacy protection.
  8. The hosting company is unknown as they are using Cloudflare DNS to hide their IP address.

Update: Binerlay has moved to a new domain yiouik.shop and uses the payment processor AsiaBill. Still sketchy. And its on GoDaddy! Scammer haven.
