Text Message I received a few minutes ago:

Official Binance Tech Support confirmed it’s NOT one of their phone numbers, that they have been SMS Spoof’d but currently no data breach has been discovered. It’s a British guy claiming to be “ANDREW” who answers the phone claiming to be Binance Support. More than one guy. Sounds like a dickhead too, not gonna lie.

(Yes, I have Binance - currently don’t use it though as I’m awaiting Binance to sort out their regulatory overhaul bullshit here in England. Been months! I can’t even complete KYC and these idiots are buying any fake details I give them).

I have zero balance due to the above. I told the guy the balance was £10 on there, or missing at least, he brought it. Told me I should receive an EMAIL in the next 30 mins to allegedly ‘reset’ my password. Even though he didn’t take my email address… Currently waiting to see if any email ever comes through so I can fish it.

I received the very same SMS in April but different number. The guy is UK based and as you say sounds like a total prick.

I think the same guy tried it again with me today as received a text, I called them but this time they knew my name

You didn’t by any chance have an account with the fast food chain German Donner Kebab? I think they have been in a recent data breach and hackers obtained personal details.
