Report this to Fractel. You’re going to need the timestamps and the number that you used to call for the recording. I don’t have that information so I can’t simply send the recording to them: [email protected]

“This scam has been ongoing for several years now.” Yeah, because few people report numbers and are still in the dark as to how these scammers are able to switch numbers. They buy these numbers from “marks” on the inside. Meaning that the wholesalers of the telecoms are the ones supplying scammers with numbers. They check the traffic and are in contact with scammers on a daily basis. The more you actually report the numbers to the telecoms, the more the marks will struggle to supply them because the telecom will eventually notice the reports linking back to one mark. The scammers are don’t use just one mark, they use many. The only way to stop this is to report the phone number. You are all wasting your time prank calling them. The scammers will simply swap out the numbers as soon as the scammers complain to their mark. Also, many marks are now implementing a “refund” policy. So now, all of the money you think you’re making the scammers spend on prank calls, they are getting that money back from the marks as now scammers are recording phone calls and submitting them to the marks, who then change the numbers and reimburse them.

This is the largest scambaiting community on the web. You all seriously need to start getting with the times and realize that these scammers are far more organized now than you all give them credit for. Report phone numbers. You cost scammers more money this way than by prank calls.

They are not refunded when their numbers get shut down, and we’re talking hundred to thousands of dollars for entire accounts. These accounts are already KYC verified, which is why they cost so much. Marks are the real problem now. That’s how scammers have defeated KYC. Marks are the ones making the accounts for the scammers.
