Poor Sweetiepea takes Pookie’s collar down and carried it around the house. She cries at the closet where he used to sleep and I do not know how to get her to stop. I never saw anything like it. @jaymee#141242 That is crazy. Touchless? So sorry for your loss. We lost our Pookie, a 7 year old Bombay with a heart of gold, to cancer which came on in two weeks in October. We are still in agony over it. Our Sweetiepea is grieving and I cannot get her to stop. My other cat is still carrying his collar around and sleeping in his bed and crying at the places he would hide. I have to get her therapy. So sorry for your loss. @JusticeinTexas#141255 If memory serves, the Bombay is all black and extremely affectionate. That’s a damn shame JIT. I see you have a Tux also as do I. I’ll send an email when time permits and we can share pics of our kitties. I too had one pass in my arms last year from cancer, a reverse Tux (mostly white). I still shed tears when walking by his headstone on my property.
@Jhawk#141259 I would love to do that. Yes, a Bombay is black, has flannel fur, short legs and they are huge. Pookie was 27 pounds with no fat. The vet thought he had bronchitis so we were treating him for that and he started not eating, washing, and falling over. They said he was not dying but he knew. The last two nights he slept in my arms. They did an xray of his head and found a huge tumor. I was offered chemo and I said no no no he is suffering I have to let him go. He died in my arms after licking my face. I still cry over him because he was the most special guy I have ever had own me and I have had dozens. IT is so hard yet what did I do? Went and adopted a crazy tortie kitten from the kill list at the pound. We keep torturing ourselves, don’t we? Wow, drwat’s cat was a tux, mine is a tux, 6flagsray has a tux named Rudy. It must be a scam baiter thing!
