Scammers have gotten a little bit smarter (or at least the people selling them Pop-ups are). They are finding ways to hijack the browser entirely.
If you are a Pop-up hunter, always:
Sandbox your browser;
Put it in Incognito Mode or equivalent;
Use a VPN.
