Bell and Rogers scam

Bell and rogers have a scam for overage fees, where the business doesn’t know how overage fees apply for all wireless devices on the same customer account in the sales, billing and customer service department, they say overage fees are based on lines, and configurations such as share everything and non share everything plans. The wireless code clearly states that overage fees are accumulated across all devices on the entire customer account. They do not do this. At Bell and Rogers for non share everything plans the overage fees are considered independent, however if there is a error and they become shared, this is not considered a violation as the system is always non compliant until there is a error. The Wireless Code, simplified | CRTC

You can get a refund if all the devices on the account are not suspended at 50$ in overage across all wireless devices on the same account. Plans and configurations do not change that contrary to what Bell and Rogers do and believe.

E. Bill management
3. Cap on data overage charges

  • 1. A service provider must suspend data overage charges once they reach $50 within a single monthly billing cycle, unless the account holder or authorized user expressly consents to pay additional charges.
  • 3.In all instances, this cap applies on a per-account basis, regardless of the number of devices associated with the account.

  • 4. For a customer with a flex plan, the customer begins incurring overage fees after the first tier of data is exceeded, and the service provider must suspend data service when they reach an additional $50 in overage fees, unless the account holder or authorized user expressly consents to additional charges.
  • Because of the above wireless code violations I have received so far $5000 worth of refunds from Bell and Rogers due to caps on data overage violations. You can profit from this scam as they are non compliant with the rules and regulations of CRTC/CCTS.

This issue created the Bell and Rogers Billing Error text message scam. As well as the Overage fee text message scam. https://nsbs.org/fraud-alert-bogus-interac-e-transfer-bell-mobility

The message also does not include that the block would be for all wireless devices on the same customer account it only states for this device so it misleads the customers and is in violation of wireless code for not applying it across all devices.

@76561197993865688#101504 these pics in the Google Image search just show fake messages that are NOT by Bell Rogers. There’s no evidence of overage fees and billing errors.

Actually Bell issued a tweet about this, stating that they do not send text messages about this: https://twitter.com/bell/status/847508239298080769

So I wonder, how did you get money?

@NeeP#101506 I have evidence of Billing errors as a result of overage fee non compliance I can post from the CCTS and the text messages are a scam. So they should be on scammer.info.

@76561197993865688#101513 these text messages are fake. I don’t think you got $5000 back
