Scammers made a robocall at 5:30 PM stating they are fraud department of Union Bank (California)
I called them Saturday, May 23 about 9-something p.m. EST.

These scammers take the call later in the evening too. They ask for your debit card number.
@drwat#140114 I called it and the lady was very nice, said she could not find my number in the system, tried looking up by name and couldn’t find it either. Only after not being able to find my phone number or name, she said that she could try looking it up by my card number “if I felt comfortable giving it to her”. I asked who it was that I was calling (claimed I had a missed call from that number) and she said the Union bank fraud department. I said that I didn’t have a Union bank account or anything associated with Union bank. She profusely apologized, and said that the call must have been an error on their part and to disregard it. Certainly did not sound like a scam. The video Joseph provided was very similar to what I got.
In addition, a google search on the number pulls up several 'who calls me' sites and people have verified that it is the number for Union Bank.

drwat This is an interesting one. Please ask whoever got the robocall to call the number at the back of his/her card just to see if there's a flagged transaction on their account. The number on my MUFG Union Bank card is 800-238-4486. Considering what Otis said, it might be worthwhile.
