Scammer’s Number: 888-509-9951 -A real number, about 1/4 of the calls go to a rogue call center

I called back, the real customer support agent said “no, thats a scam”. Called back a few times eventually got the scammers again. Its the same number, a portion of the phone calls are going to a rogue call center. Its still happening and axos bank is not stopping it. Maybe they are complicit, but more likely clueless and lazy. I have screen shots of the call logs, and recordings of the phone calls.
My name and number are on it, don’t have time to edit right this minute. Posting here in case someone more professional can try to get to the bottom of this active scam going on right now .
I called the bank, have a recording of me telling them about the scam. Sent multiple messages to axos banks online help, including the calls and screenshots, I can post here after editing later tonight. Received the same canned response.
I guess I feel like this should be treated more urgently cause its an ongoing active scam, using a real banks number…

We care .we will call them. what a disgrace … I get same response called multiple banks about scams companies too … even talked to intelligence in to El Paso thier number got hijacked he says tons of prank calls thinking it Indian scammer … Talk to American real agent for 30 min. He said his phone company won’t do nothing or any body for that matter

he was very receptive … Says they have outsourced call center … But no branches
with gift cards … says outsourced to India
… The 888 509 9951 is not in their web site
and not recognized by them … Says aware and trying to work on this issue.
The 888-509-9951 number is the customer service number presented at the top of their website after logging into an account, see my screenshot from yesterday.
Tried to log in just now to check again and was unable to because they “are down for scheduled maintenance”
