Additional information about this scam: Received a cold text from “BS Auto parts”.
I spoke with a woman who had a heavy Indian accent. I asked where they were located, she gave me an address in California. I looked it up and it’s a doctor’s office. I politely questioned her about it and she lost her temper.
If they don’t answer, they immediately send you a text message

Using my made up information from the following bait Auto Parts scam (408) 837-4079 - #25 by MehNamesJeff
At first, the bhenchod said they don’t have the part or anything - the usual. I phoned back immediately, and told him that I was told they really had this rare part for my super rare car and I was prepared to pay anything. Again, this time he asked for the VIN and told me to text it to their other number +1 408 863-1498 couldn’t find it. He then sent me a pic back and said it was taken from their “internal website” and claimed it was “against policy to share the website address”. He then got mouthy.
I called again and got someone else, this time he wanted the VIN number texted to +1 (215) 759 6062. It would again seem it’s quite easy to pull their other ASSOCIATED phone numbers. Of course he couldn’t find it either. He said he’ll call me back in about 5 minutes as he said he’s received a call from another “client” and needs to pick it up. He has not so far.
[NOTE: This was 2 hours ago - I was in the midst of updating LIVE and editing as the bait went on but for some reason, my computer starting thinking I had no Internet connection, even though everything was perfectly fine - router etc, other stuff was still connecting. Small bug, not the first time it’s happened. Only just got it working again).
