i just updated my browser and now the audio doesn’t work and dial buttons are broken. i simply hear a pop when it dials and trying to disconnect the call just redials the number with a new cid. i went into bobrtc preferences and made sure i have bobrtc pointed to the correct audio devices but still no luck. site settings are set to allow access to the microphone. any suggestions?
i’m using Dissenter browser which is the same as Brave which is a chrome fork.
i performed a system restore and that seemed to do the trick. i also suspect it may have been caused by a windows update and not the browser update. i’m using W7. anyone else have issues after a windows update?
ok i figured it out. it seems that ublock origin is the culprit. i had “prevent webrtc from leaking local ip addreses” and “block csp reports” enabled and that was causing the issue. turned both those off and it seems to have resolved my issues. i am now able to use ublock and bobrtc but will disable adblocking for bobrtc regardless. hopefully this can help others.
@johnredcorn#115979 Personally, I use Firefox for everyday tasks. (Typing on FF) But since I have it so locked down, I have a dedicated Chrome instance to using BobRTC. I would recommend using Firefox or Chrome to use us. You cannot use our site with privacy oriented extensions installed and active.
