I am Goodwin Joseph Lee from CIP independent Consulting, New York. My aim of contacting you is to inform you about an uncompleted Telegraphic Funds Transfer in Citi Bank which concerns you.
During our last audit of the accounts of Citi Bank International and Offshore banking, I and my team found that a Telegraphic Transfer from a prominent Bank in Europe was abandoned at Citi Bank. Citi Bank acts as an intermediary Bank to over 70% funds transfer across the globe.
In this case, the transferor of the funds could not provide enough evidence to Citi Bank, hence the funds transfer was blocked and has remained uncompleted over time.
Further investigation revealed to us that the funds are meant for you, hence my decision to inform you about this development. I may not know why you chose to abandon the funds transfer but I sure do know how we can work around things and complete the funds transfer to your nominated bank account.
I will not be able to disclose more information on my intent at this point, but I will tell you more when I get your response.
